Cubs at PGL Hindhead 2016140 cubs and adults braved wind, rain, sleet and a little sun at PGL Hindhead for a weekend of action as part of our centenary celebrations.

Marchants Hill is a PGL activity centre set amongst trees in the Surrey countryside near Hindhead and only a short distance from the National Trust’s Devil’s Punch Bowl (an area of outstanding natural beauty).

Activities included abseiling, Powerfan, archery, orienteering and much more.

As well as daytime activities, in the evening there were wacky races and splat (protecting an egg as it gets dropped from the abseiling tower).

All the cubs enjoyed the weekend despite the weather and were able to pass on several different parts of a number of badges.

At the end of the camp they all agreed they had tried something new and tried something that they found difficult.
