BEAVERS SCOUTS GO THE DISTANCE

8^th Ashford Beaver Scouts were joined by 7^th Ashford , 1^st Staines and 1^st Stanwell to raise money for ‘Sport Relief’.

On the evenings of Monday 17^th and Tuesday 18^th March, Staines and Laleham Sports Association (SALSA) very kindly offered their sports ground facilities to the Beaver Scouts in order to host their own ‘Sport Relief Mile’.

Over 90 participants took part in this charity event, and during the evening managed to cover a large ‘Red Nose’ on the floor with coins to donate to the appeal.

Well done all of you for completing your mile and making the evening such a great success. Thanks again to the Sports Club for their community spirit.

A fantastic total of £191.00 was raised by the Beavers!
