The dates for the annual Christmas Bag Packing at Sainsburys, Staines, are available for you to view now. The process for bookings will commence on 1st May 2008 from 10am.
Due to complaints from some groups that the previous system for bookings was unfair, it has been slightly changed again this year and will hopefully ensure that it is fair for all groups.
Here are the rules for booking dates:
- During the period of 1st May 2008 to 20th May 2008, groups may:
- Book a maximum of 2 slots of 2 hours each
- From 20th May 2008 until 1st December 2008, groups may:
- Request as many additional dates as they wish.
- From 1st August 2008, dates will be given to other local youth organisations if they wish to participate in this fantastic fundraising opportunity. In previous years they have been turned down, however we would like to see each and every slot filled this year!
- If, after 20th May, you wish to book additional slots to add onto the start or end of any previously booked slots and are unable to do so due to other bookings, you may contact other groups directly to see if they would be prepared to swap slots around. The bag packing co-ordinator will not get involved in the swapping process, however must be notified of any changes so that the bookings sheet may be updated accordingly.

Last year a fantastic £4689.32 was raised by the groups who participated, lets try and beat that this year!
