There are five sections (age ranges) in UK Scouting: Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorer Scouts and the Scout Network.
Each section has its own balanced programme of activities, badges and awards.

|Young Leaders’ Scheme||14-18||Building leadership skills||Part of the Explorers section, the Young Leaders’ Scheme Young gives young people the chance to take on a leadership role in one of the younger sections.||District|
|Scout Active Support||18+||Flexible volunteering for adults||Supporting Scouts in a wide range of roles from working directly with young people, to helping manage a Group, to being a charity Trustee.||District|
|Spelthorne Water Activities Team||18+||Run paddle sport activities||A team of coaches and instructors who provide a variety of water based paddle sport activities at a scout group owned lake in Wraysbury and at other venues in the district.||District|
