Adult volunteers are at the heart of Scouting, and we hope that you will get every bit as much out of it as you put in. Scouting is not only about young people, but also about the development of adults within the Movement.
As a new or existing adult volunteer you will be expected to complete & renew training to ensure knowledge & understanding of key aspects of our responsibilites remains up to date. This training applies to all roles with the exception of President/Vice President and Occasional Helper roles (Group / District). Your line manager / district team will advise what training is required & when (including renewals).
You will be required to renew specific modules every few years and failure to complete these renewals may ultimately result in the suspension or closure of your role.

Once you have completed your eLearning and have a certificate, please send it to your Group Scout Leader (GSL) or to email it to eLearningValidation@spelthornescouts.org.uk
